I wanted to share a few of my favorite "things" this week after being gone (LONG GONE) from the blog world most of the summer. 

Here's what I've appreciated this week - 

1.) Handwritten Calligraphy - on my sister Janet's wedding invites - not a lost art after all!

We can't wait - 2 more months until the wedding! 

2.) Jim Gaffigan Comedy Show - an early birthday present for Bill from my parents.  (I just love it when I get to share in the gift too haha).  It was a great show!

3.) Fancy Coffee - Hawaiian coffee from my mom's trip to visit her dad (another Bill present I get to "share" in).

Dark shiny beans, yum!

4.) The site of tomatoes on our kitchen window sill - which means sauce time! 

5.) Random Italian Dinner Night - Bill surprised me with a Chianti and I had plenty of sauce ready from all our tomatoes ;).

Fresh bread and salad to go with the spaghetti and meatballs!
