7 Quick Ones - October

1.)
I keep seeing this sign on Facebook and it just cracks me up -
It's like, forget if I was crazy before… now at least I have an excuse! ;)

2.)
I'm glad Addie Jo likes the changing of the fall colors as much as I do because our walks and car rides are hilarious with her always pointing out the leaves.
But no blue, she reminds me.  Nope, the leaves don't turn blue… just red, orange, pink, yellow, and brown.
Nothing gets by her. ;)

First signs of FALL -
Street soccer overseen by Uncle Andy.
We got poured on during this walk!  But it didn't matter because there were LEAVES falling everywhere which means everything is right in the world according to AJ!

3.)
 *Speaking of Fall, it's OCTOBER!!!
Although it's been so warm lately, you wouldn't know it.  50 and 60 degree weather are coming this weekend though - just in time for the pumpkin patch adventure!

4.)
Fall means all things pumpkin, so pumpkin pancakes are definitely on the menu around here -
3 cups complete pancake mix, 1 can pumpkin, 2 tsp+ pumpkin pie spice, 1.5 cups water, 1 cup milk = a large batch!!!

5.)
October definitely means Halloween time in our casa, too.  From the decor, to crafts, to figuring out costumes...

 Our mantle is ready -

AJ's decorating touch -
She was excited to show me what she did to their room haha!

The girls favorite part of the "decor" has been opening their kitty-in-a-jackolantern plush decorations on October 1st.
(I love them too because I found 2 at Goodwill for $1 each!!!)

They also loved seeing the spooky decor at the Sahm's house - HUGS included -

Some Fall crafts -

And costume checks -
June's used cow has a huge rip but I think I can repair it!

6.)
October is also the month of the ROSARY and these girls remind me how important it is to keep a strong relationship with Mary.  Her intercession is something I should always be seeking!
Thanks for the reminder, dear Williams' girls.

7.)
And last but not least, early October brings some feast days of some awesome saints - St. Francis, St. Faustina, St. Theodore Guerin, and St. Therese, the Little Flower, who brings flowers to those who need to feel her prayers.
Amen.

Thanks, Maggie, for the roses for the girls!

Have a fabulous Fall weekend!

Linking up with Jennifer and the crew.
