Weekend Wrap Up - BABY-FIED!

BABIES were on the brain this past weekend!

This weekend was baby Luke Alexander's Baptism.
Bill and I were so thrilled to be at this special sacrament as his Godparents.  It really was so wonderful to see this cutie become a member of the Church!  Luke (one of my favorite boy names) is the second son of our dear friends Connie and Brian and little brother to sweet Kyle.  He is 2 weeks older than our June and is just the sweetest thing!  Proof below:

Beautiful baby Luke and beautiful momma Connie

Bill and Brian watching football after the Baptism.  One of the few times we see these dads in ties!

This baby missed an exciting game, even though he had a seat front and center: :)

Baby Landon, clad in Colts' gear, asleep during the game.

This little baby Bug tried out the Bumbo seat for the first time at Aunti Con's yesterday:

Yes, that's a tutu shirt draped over the Bumbo!

Junie thought she was pretty cool stuff!

And then this is how Addie spent her afternoon at Kyle and Luke's house:

Playing with Kyle K's cool toys!

And showing off for Geoff!

And then on Saturday, to participate in the 40 Days for Life this season, the girls and I joined aunt Katie to pray outside the abortion clinic.

I kept telling Addie that we were going to pray for all babies and their mommies and she kept saying, "Bay-bie, Bay-bie," and pointing to Junie.  Yes, yes, sweet Adelaide, Baby June is here with us and none of us can imagine our lives without her!!!   Not all babies get the chance at life and that's why we try to get out there to be a part of the prayer chain over these 40 days.
Like Katie says, just Addie and June being there is a witness to the sacredness and goodness of life!

As we turned off 86th street, right outside the clinic, I noticed this: A billboard with a picture of a brand new baby on it that reads FRAGILE

Good scowly face, Junie! Oh those cute feet!  It seems like yesterday they were pressing on the inside of my stomach!
Junie loves babies, too!

3 little boys held signs that read, "Honk if you're Pro-Life."  When cars honked, Addie waved.

Checking in with Mary

Snack time
Color time
Cuddle time
Warming up because it got chilly time
Stroll with Aunt Kate time

Telling Scowling so that Aunt Katie knows she wants to stroll again!
Now she's really telling her about it!

Yea, not sure about this one but Katie and I were dying!

And I just found out how awesome it is that Pope Francis consecrated the WHOLE WORLD to the IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY?!

"In the end, My Immaculate Heart will Triumph."

So there was our baby-filled weekend.  Hope you had a great weekend too!
